The Clarisonic Mia!

For the past couple of years I've been seeing everyone in the beauty community raving about this 'miracle' skin product they've come across. I've had it lurking in my online shopping basket so many times over the years, but I always ended up talking myself out of buying it as it was so expensive! So, when I saw it on buyapowa for £90 I decided to finally bite the bullet and buy one for myself!

I've been using this for almost two months now, so I thought I would share my experiences with it in case any of you guys are on the fence about buying one like I was!

I noticed improvements in my skin pretty much straight away after using, obviously my spots weren't gone over night or anything, but the texture of my skin felt a lot nicer and my make up was going on a lot smoother. After about two weeks of use I started to notice a big difference with my skin, my spots were mostly disappearing (even the stubborn ones that had been lurking about for months) and my skin was just generally looking a lot brighter and healthier. I did break out briefly during the third week but it cleared up pretty much straight away.

With continued use I've found my skin getting better and better! I've even started to go out with just a dusting of powder (well, on lazy days!) instead of the whole foundation routine I used to find mandatory. I've also found that my skin is a lot less dry and that I need to exfoliate a lot less, which makes sense since essentially you're brushing your face!

One thing I must say though is, last week I had a pretty dramatic week and my skin care routine just went out of the window, I didn't use my Clarisonic at all and after about four days of no use I broke out horribly! I've been back on the bandwagon for a few days now though, and my skin is starting to look clear again thankfully! So continued use is a must!

All in all I'm completely obsessed with my Clarisonic Mia and I would highly recommend it to anybody who's been on the fence about getting one!

Just in case you're curious about what products I tend to use with my Clarisonic, my typical skin care routine goes like this.. I remove my eye make up with Lancome Bi-Facil eye make up remover (it's the only eye make up remover I've used in years, I highly recommend it!) Then I remove the rest of my face make up with Primark make up remover wipes, they're such a bargain at £1 for 50 of them and I actually find them better than 99% of wipes out there! Next up I wet my face with warm water and generously apply some Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish, then I'm ready to start up the Clarisonic! Once I'm all done with that I rinse my face with warm water and use one of the muslin cloths that come with the Cleanse & Polish. Then I follow up with whatever moisturiser I'm using at the time (currently Johnsons Daily Essentials Night Cream, which I really like) and I'm all done! Simple and quick. :)
